LINTHICUM, MD, December 8, 2008–For the second year in a row, the American Urological Association (AUA) received the highest honor from the Baltimore chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association: The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Award. The AUA’s Office Management team also won the Best Property Management Team award for a second time. Never before has one facility won both awards two years in a row.


The award was presented on Thursday, November 20 at a black-tie banquet at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel. Office buildings were judged on a number of criteria, including physical attractiveness, community impact, tenant relations, energy management, emergency preparedness and security standards. The AUA Headquarters building, which opened in 2003, met the rigorous standards.
